Established in 1914 as the Ladies Auxiliary, members serve this country's veterans to honor the sacrifices and commitment of every Soldier, Sailor, Airman, Marine, and Coast Guardsman who has served in uniform. Today, the Auxiliary has its own unique identity and continues to work side-by-side with the veterans forming each VFW post. Like the VFW Post, the Auxiliary embodies the American spirit that has overcome the challenges of war-time periods and served veterans throughout the times of peace. An integral part of the VFW post, the Auxiliary supports a host of programs of interest to all veterans, their spouses, and their children.
